Salted Caramel Mocha Smoothie Recipe - Protein Smoothie

Ok, so we all know that I am obsessed with coffee so naturally I had to make a coffee smoothie! This one is perfect for your morning. I have even had it multiple times for breakfast! Now, I know I know…. it is sweet and has caramel, but it is amazing for when you are having one of those days :)

Plus, who doesn’t love salted caramel? I am sure this has been around forever, but I only recently discovered it within the last, lets say, ten ish years. It seems strange, but all of the sudden everything seemed to be salted caramel. Salted caramel ice cream, salted caramel coffee, salted caramel chocolates, and the list goes on and on. I definitely wasn’t upset about it. It is basically my favorite treat. Whenever I see something salted caramel I have to get it!

Here are some things you will need to make your own Smoothies:

Salted Caramel Mocha Smoothie Recipe - Protein Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cups cold coffee

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk

  • 1 small frozen banana

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 scoop chocolate or vanilla protein powder, optional

  • 3 pitted dates

  • Pinch of Salt

  • 1 cup of ice

Directions:

  1. Add all ingredients to a food processor or blender

  2. Blend until smooth

  3. Poor into your favorite glass, top with whipped cream, and enjoy!!

Serving Size: Makes 1 serving
