Banana Nut Smoothie Recipe - Healthy Protein Smoothie Recipe

If you don’t know already, I have started sharing all my smoothie recipes and this is one of my newest creations. I am probably going to obsess over it for a little while. I absolutely love this banana nut smoothie! It is pretty sweet due to the vanilla, banana, and dates.

After being pregnant I completely lost appetite, and nothing tasted right. The only way I was able to get calories in was by eating smoothies. They completely saved me during that first week postpartum.

I have also been on a mission to try and eat a bit healthier since being pregnant and get in more protein. I realized while I was pregnant that I basically don’t eat any protein except for at dinner time. This is really not good if you are trying to gain strength and muscle. So, smoothies are just yet another way that I can get more protein in.

Before we get into the recipe make sure to check out all the other smoothie recipes here.
