Orange Creamsicle Smoothie Recipe - Protein Smoothie
Growing up I loved getting those creamsicle ice creams from the store. They were so yummy. The outside a cold delicious orange flavor with the inside being a soft vanilla ice cream! They are still some of my favorites for a yummy summertime treat, but when you are trying to eat healthy and eat less sugar you gotta get creative!
I have been on a mission to make my childhood favorite recipes into a healthier version. This way I can still enjoy the things I love, but they are just a bit better for me :)
It has definitely been a struggle to get the flavors right, but I think I am succeeding! This is one of those recipes. Now, it doesn’t have the texture of one of those amazing ice cream bars, but it has the flavor so that counts!
Before we get into the recipe make sure to check out all the other smoothie recipes here.
Also, as a side note, there are so many yummy recipes over on The Drink Addicts Website. Make sure to check them out if you want more smoothie recipes, or just drink recipes in general.
