It is definitely an amazing time to get out into nature as well. I love it because it is cooler. When you walk you can smell and feel that cool crisp air where you know winter is coming. Fall also starts the beginning of the holiday season and the ending of the summer time fun and summer time heat.

Cute Hiking Outfits for Fall

Essentials to make this one work:

If you are going on a not so strenuous hike then this outfit would be perfect for you! This outfit isn’t too breathable and definitely won’t work if you are wanting to sweat a bit, but it is perfect for those easy hikes or walks .

You will need a cute mustard yellow beanie, a beige oversized knit sweater, and a black long sleeve for under the sweater to add that layered look and to also help with sweating.

Also don’t forget those black leggings and a good comfy backpack.

Here are the links :

This is my absolute favorite outfit. I love the color combo and definitely fits those fall vibes.

You are going to need a burnt orange hoodie or jacket, a mustard yellow beanie, and some leggings. You will also need a backpack. The backpack pictured here is definitely not a good day pack so I decided to link a similar looking day pack, but something that will actually be comfortable and work for a hike.

Below are some links to gear that I would highly recommend and would actually allow you to complete this look.

This again is definitely a go to for me. A long sleeve, a down jacket, leggings, hiking shoes, and of course a dog! Seriously, you won’t see me anywhere The key to this outfit is the down jacket.

This outfit is definitely your classic hiking outfit. I even wear outfits like this just out and about. It is comfy, warm, cute, and functional. I mean it really is a win all around.

So here are some items that I would recommend in order to complete this outfit.

You seriously can never go wrong with a flannel and a vest! I am obsessed with that look. For most of the fall and winter you will find me in a flannel and a vest, unless I am wearing my down jacket :)

This outfit is amazing, but the only thing that could go wrong is the jeans. If you are hiking a long way you will not want to wear jeans. You are going to want to wear hiking pants or leggings.

Here are some of my recommended products in order to make this outfit yours:

You cannot go wrong with a back and red flannel outfit. The one thing you are going to have to consider is that you will have to travel to Yosemite to see an amazing view like this! So grab your cute hiking outfits and head out on a new adventure.

Here are my recommendations for this outfit:

The thing that you need to focus on here is the color. Yellow.

This cute hiking outfit for fall is perfect for that cooler fall day or cloudy/rainy weather. I absolutely love yellow, and / or anything fall colors so obviously I am in love with this outfit.

I do want to point out the leggins. Make sure that you buy leggins with pockets! Believe me, you will end up thanking me later :)

Ok, so here are my recommendations for this one.

There are two main things that complete this outfit. It is actually the blanket and boots with socks, not to mention the yellow backpack.

So, here are some options for you. I added a pack that is a day pack for those short day hikes and also added a backpacking pack for long distance trips :)

So this is my absolute go to outfit. Comfy, warm, functional, and amazing. A good fuzzy sweater, nice leggings, cute socks, a headband so you don’t have to do your hair, and birkenstocks.

Now if you are going to wear birkenstocks you most likely aren’t going on a long hike, but it is good for short walks and just an easy outdoorsy kind of day.

Here are the items linked :

Here is another classic hiking outfit. You cannot go wrong with black. Actually, I wear black the majority of the time. Alot of people don’t recommend wearing black hiking in the summer due to the heat so definitely something to keep in mind, but this isn’t a summer outfit inspo article this is all about cute hiking outfits for fall!

So here are my freaking favorite things to wear out hiking that are black and would make up this outfit:

Saving one of the best for last here! I love this outfit or any outfit that resembles this outfit.

The things you need to notice here is the hat and the flannel not to mention the socks. Those are the things that make this outfit amazing.

Now with all that being said, hiking in a felt hat is not optimal nor will it be comfortable. Plus you are going to sweat which will leave a sweat ring on your hat. So, definitely something to think about with wearing a felt hat. It is good for short walks , but not something that you want to sweat in too much.

Here are my recommendations for this one:

Alright there you have it! 10 super cute hiking outfits for fall! Tell me what your go to hiking outfit is in the comments below. I would love love love to hear all about it.

Wishing you amazing adventures!
