Cute Hiking Outfits for Fall 2019
It is finally freaking fall people!!! Gosh I am so damn excited! Sweaters, beanies, boots…. gosh you name it! We can finally wear it! Yay!!!!!!
Now, with fall coming around it can be kinda difficult to figure out what to wear while hiking. You want your hiking outfit to be comfortable, functional, and still kinda cute am I right? Don’t worry, me too! This is why I put together this post with some cute hiking outfits for fall!
If you are anything like me, you probably have an idea in your head of what will look good and what won’t. Then when you buy piece by piece you get all excited until you actually put it all together. Each piece individually is super cute, but for some reason the combination isn’t awesome. So, I decided to put together actual full blown outfits. This way you can see the outfit in it’s entirety and then decide if you like it. If you like it you can then put the entire thing together with the actual links to the products. It leaves the guessing completely out of the game. You now know that what you buy will actually look good together! No more returning items, and no more being disappointing. Yay!!!!

To be honest, I get so freaking frustrated with finding posts of cute outfits, or neat gadgets, or awesome ways to cook, or really just anything and then not being able to actually find any of it. There are no links or anything so all I can do is just say “wow that is cool and I really wish I knew where to find it.” So, since this is a pet peeve of mine, this post is actually going to give you all the details to where you just ‘add to cart’. This way you can actually put an entire outfit together rather than just guessing if it will look ok. Some of the links are affiliate links, but most of them aren’t. I just want to help you actually find the darn things! (note, the items linked are not the exact items in the image, but they will get you the same look. All of the images below are stock images. )

Essentials to make this one work:
A long sleeve cotton, a beanie, joggers, socks, and boots. The backpack is also super fun and puts the entire outfit together.
So where do you find all these things to be uber cute like this chick?
So I added a few products in the links below. I couldn’t find a cute mustard yellow cotton long sleeve that I would recommend; however, this shirt is just that, a mustard yellow boyfriend long sleeve shirt.
This outfit is a classic and seriously one of my go to’s. It is comfortable, functional, and amazing. Basically you need:
Hiking boots, hiking socks, black leggings, a blue down jacket, and a black beanie. Add a day pack to bring all your gear, goodies, and snacks and you are good to go!

Now, you are going to have to travel to Yosemite in order to catch an amazing waterfall like that, so grab your clothes and head out on an adventure my friend!
This again is definitely a go to for me. A long sleeve fleece, leggings, hiking shoes, and of course a camera. Seriously, you won’t see me anywhere without some sort of camera in my hand. The key to this outfit is the sweater. The zip up, pullover, or whatever you choose is going to make the outfit.
The other think I want to talk about with this cute hiking outfit is her hair. Her hair is in a messy bun. If you are anything like me you have a hard time figuring out what the heck to do with your hair. Well, this messy bun up do is definitely a win in my book. It is also something that can change the entire vibe of the outfit.
The other thing is of course the super cute doggie and his jacket! I love handmade jackets so I did a quick search and a bunch of different jackets came up on Etsy so that is always fun. There were also some others that I liked on Orvis.
So here are some items that I would recommend in order to complete this outfit.
You seriously can never go wrong with black! It is my absolute go to when I don’t know what to wear. Black leggins, black jacket boom done!
This outfit is amazing, but I think people overlook the little details. This is something I really want you to look at. Her baseball hat, the way she has her hair, her backpack, her jacket wrapped around her waist, and yes her coffee mug. These are all important details to really try and mimic this outfit.

The thing that you need to focus on here is the jacket and the socks. Those are the two stand out pieces.
This cute hiking outfit for fall is perfect for that cooler fall day or cloudy/rainy weather. I absolutely love orange, and / or anything fall colors so obviously I am in love with this outfit.
I do want to point out the leggins. Make sure that you buy leggins with pockets! Believe me, you will end up thanking me later :)
Ok, so here are my recommendations for this one. I couldn’t find an orange rain jacket that was any brand I would recommend, but just know that all my recommended clothing below has multiple color options which is pretty sweet :)
There are two main things that complete this outfit. It is actually the hat and the backpack. The hat has a mustard yellow bill and the backpack is a burnt orange. Without these two things she would be wearing a grey shirt, black pants, and hiking boots.
Obviously doggies always help any picture to look cute :)
So, here are some options for you. I added a pack that is a day pack for those short day hikes and also added a backpacking pack for long distance trips :)
So this is my absolute go to outfit. Comfy, warm, functional, and amazing. A good fuzzy sweater, nice leggings, cute socks, a headband so you don’t have to do your hair, and birkenstocks.
Now if you are going to wear birkenstocks you most likely aren’t going on a long hike, but it is good for short walks and just an easy outdoorsy kind of day.
