Blueberry Smoothie Recipe - Protein Smoothie

My dad has always loved blueberries. It is something that we always had in the house growing up. We would eat them plain, but them in yogurt, put them in oatmeal, make blueberry parfaits, or make blueberry smoothies! This has pretty much continued into my adult life.

I absolutely love blueberries! I especially love them in my oatmeal. It makes the oatmeal seem like a blueberry muffin! Plus, blueberries are so incredibly good for you! Do you know all the health benefits of blueberries? Well, check this out. Per Healthline:

Blueberry Smoothie Recipe - Protein Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 8 ounces apple juice

  • 1/2 frozen banana

  • 1 cup frozen blueberries

  • 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder

  • splash of vanilla extract

  • Optional: 1 cup spinach

    • This will make your smoothie turn brown

Directions:

  1. Add all ingredients to a food processor or blender

  2. Blend until smooth

  3. Poor into your favorite glass, top with whole blueberries to make it pretty, and enjoy!!

Serving Size: Makes 1 serving


This smoothie that I am sharing with you today is my go-to smoothie. When I don’t know what else to make, I make this one.
