All Nut Trail Mix

"Nut Tastic Trail Mix"

Trail Mix is always a good thing for any occasion. Whether you are going on an adventure, driving to work in your car, sitting in a cube, or watching the sunset after you just backpacked 8 miles...

So, STOP buying store bought trail mix. Seriously peeps, you need to start making your own. First of all, you probably already have the ingredients at home and second you can make the trail mix however you want to.

Typically I love trail mix with a little fruit, some nuts, and a smidgen of chocolate; however, in the store you can never seem to find that. There is always at least one thing in the mixture that I don't like. Maybe its M&M's, or maybe it is too many almonds and not enough cranberries. I know I sound picky right? but I am guessing that you know exactly where I am coming from.

To add another reason to stop buying store bought trail mix and start making your own, is that the store bough ones have added sugar. Seriously! It is pretty amazing how they sneak sugar into pretty much E V E R Y T H I N G!

So, here is a good one to start...

Nut Tastic Trail Mix Ingredients:

  1. 1/2 ounce roasted almonds
  2. 1/2 ounce walnuts
  3. 1/2 ounce cashews
  4. 1/2 ounce roasted and salted pumpkin seeds

Note: The awesome thing about making your own is that if you don't like one of these nuts then change it out for one that you do!


Directions:

  1. Combine all of the above into a vacuum seal bag. Seal and label.
  2. That's it!

Makes 1 serving.
