Are you bored, stressed out, or feeling anxious about the current situation that is going on in the world?

Don’t worry my friend! We are all in this together!

When this whole thing first started I decided I was going to relax and really soak up the moment. Then I started to notice my mood going downhill, my productivity was shot, and I was procrastinating on everything! So, I decided that I needed to change my mindset.

If I am going be at home, I should really take advantage of this situation, be productive, and do things that I have been meaning to do for quite some time.

It is a good time to focus on personal growth and self care. It is the perfect time to get some things marked off that to do list that we have had for so long.

I wanted to create a list of 25 things to do while in quarantine. Things to help you feel productive and accomplished, but before we get started on the list if you are struggling with a routine make sure to check out my previous blog post

25 Productive Things To Do While In Quarantine

  1. Spring cleaning baby!

    • Start deep cleaning and start de-cluttering your place. Take advantage of this time and do some good deep cleaning. It is amazing how much of a positive effect this can have on your mood and how much of a negative effect clutter can have on your attitude.

  2. Make a to do list for around the house

    • Don’t go crazy here or else you are going to get stressed out. Start a small to-do list for things that you have been meaning to get done around the house. Add 1-5 things on that list and then check them off. Now obviously this list will have to be things that you can do without having to go to the store for supplies. Once you complete the 5 things on your list add another couple.

  3. Get outside every day - get some sun and fresh air.

    • I cannot stress this enough. I noticed that when this self quarantine thing started I wasn’t getting outside at all and man my mood was going downhill fast. I have made a huge effort to spend at least 10 minutes outside each day. That 10 minutes will probably turn into multiple 10 minutes which will then turn into an hour or two. Start doing 10 minutes at a time and you will noticed your mood get better and you will want to be more productive.

  4. Organize your phone

  5. Start learning a new language

    • This is something that I have been wanting to do. There are so many resources available now. I need to start doing this myself.

  6. Bake something new (find all my recipes here).

  7. Plan your future

    • With this time it is the perfect time to start thinking about your future and setting some goals with feasible action items. This one is a big one. So if you are already feeling a bit stressed or anxious I wouldn’t tackle this one just yet.

  8. Journal

  9. Take an online class!

    • Oh man there are so many good ones depending on what niche you are in! Right now is the perfect time to start learning something new, or start getting better at your trade!

  10. Stretch or Yoga

  11. Start a daily gratitude journal

  12. Set goals/ write about what you wish your life looked like. Let this inspire you to work on those things!

  13. Organize your Pinterest

    • Really this means any social media. If you run a business it is really important to organize your social media and make it easy for your followers and clients to find what you offer.

  14. Do that business thing you have been wanting to get done.

    • Taxes, organize your files, create the new blog series, start that webinar, go live, anything that has been on your mind yet you can’t find the right time to do it. Right now is the right time!

  15. Start a blog or a youtube channel

  16. Workout

    • This isn’t only for your physical self this is for your mental self. You need to move your body. If you are interested in starting a new workout program or need an accountability partner I would love to chat with you!! Check out my virtual wellness studio.

  17. Read a good book

  18. Listen to a podcast

  19. Spend some time for yourself - Self Care

    • If you can’t ever find the time to take care of yourself right now is the absolute perfect time!

  20. Try new recipes – breakfast, lunch, dinner, you have the time to try new things.

  21. Get Crafty!

  22. Organize your drawers in your house

  23. Organize your office

  24. Take up something new

    • What is that one thing that you have been wanting to try but haven’t found the time to try it. Journaling? Crafting? Photography? Blogging? Now is the perfect time to try that thing that you have always been wanting to do!

  25. Create a new habit

    • Did you know that it takes 21 days to create a habit? Here are some ideas:

      • Start drinking that apple cider vinegar and lemon drink

      • Start that workout program

      • Begin a daily gratitude journal

      • Start getting up early or going to bed on time

      • Start a Yoga program
