Tropical Dream Smoothie Recipe
Hello Friends! I cannot believe that Thanksgiving is over and we are on our way to Christmas! Right now everyone is stuffed with the best turkey dinner, and we are headed off to a new work weak (ok maybe rolling into a new work week, at least this girl is).
So, I wanted to give you a delicious smoothie recipe to start off your week right.
This recipe was tested multiple times before I got it just right.
This recipe makes one serving.
Ingredients:
6 ounces of orange juice
2 ounces of water
1 scoop protein powder ( I like this vanilla protein powder )
1/2 cup frozen mango
1/2 cup frozen pineapple
1/4 cup frozen coconut
1/2 of a frozen banana
1 Tablespoon of Chia Seeds (this doesn't change flavor and is optional)
optional but recommended: 5 drops of vanilla stevia
If you need greens add 1/2 cup spinach
Directions:
Add orange juice and water in a blender cup
Add all other ingredients into the blender cup
Blend until smooth
Serve
Makes 1 serving
