Avocado Chocolate Pudding
So in all honesty I hate avocados. Yes, I can't stand the texture. It isn't as much as a flavor thing but the texture is not awesome. The flavor, well I guess it really depends on the ripeness of the avocado.
Now, avocados are good for you right? So naturally I tried the whole adding them to my diet thing to be 'healthy' and have all these amazing 'healthy fats'.... ummm that lasted for about a minute. I tried to eat them, tried to disguise them with other foods. Sometimes it worked but most of the time it didn't. That is all to say until I made this Avocado Chocolate Pudding!
You guys don't even know! This is so incredibly yummy. The texture and the flavor of the avocado is completely gone. The only flavor you get is chocolate pudding. For realz though, it tastes just like regular prepackaged chocolate pudding. It is so good, so delicious, and satisfies that sweet tooth oh so well! It sounds gross, but believe me, just try it. You will thank me later ;)
So here is the recipe:
Ingredients:
- 2 Ripe Avocados
- 3 Tablespoons cacao powder
- 2 Tablespoons real maple syrup
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla
- 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
- Pinch of pink Himalayan salt
Directions:
- Add all ingredients to a food processor
- Blend until smooth
- Serve and Enjoy!
Makes 2 servings.
