Vanilla Berry Smoothie Recipe
During the summer time and intense hot weather I find myself not as hungry as I normally am. These days I don't want to eat much especially when it comes to hot foods. I find that if I eat "heavy" meals I feel a little lathargic and honestly quite lazy. All I want to do is lay down on the couch. So, with that I try to make lighter cooler meals during the intense heat (yes, right now California is at 112 degrees).
I am always experimenting with different smoothie recipes and most are just ok. Not awesome, just ok. This Vanilla Berry Smoothie Recipe on the other hand is delicious so obviously I had to share it with you guys :)
Ingredients:
4 ounces of orange juice
4 ounces of water
1/4 cup plain greek yogurt
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1/4 cup frozen blackberries
1/2 cup frozen straweberries
5 drops of vanilla stevia
optional: 1/2 cup spinach
Directions:
Add all ingredients into a blender cup
Blend until smooth
Serve
